Cache/volatile Pool configuration How to

Use these rules to config the HPC and Phy cache and volatile pool:

  1. Make sure the sum of four pools' size is set to less than the 80% of Lustre production pool size minus the total size used by others (~50TB).
  2. The sum of all projects' reserved in the pool should be less than 80% of the pool size.
  3. The sum of all projects' quota in the pool can be 1.2 - 2 times of the pool size (no more than 3 times).
If above conditions meet, the pool size will be the guarantee space for that pool.
